Primary Care

Accessible, Comprehensive Care for Every Stage of Life

Finding the right primary care provider shouldn’t be difficult — and it shouldn’t feel rushed or impersonal. At RMPC, we’re committed to building real relationships with our patients and offering the kind of care that supports your health over time.

Whether you’re looking to stay on top of preventive care or manage a chronic condition, our experienced providers are here to help you feel your best.

What Is Primary Care?

Primary care is the foundation of good health. It’s your go-to resource for most non-emergency health needs, offering:

  • Annual wellness visits and routine screenings
  • Treatment for common illnesses and injuries
  • Chronic condition management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure)
  • Mental health support
  • Health education and lifestyle guidance
  • Referrals to specialists, when needed

Having a trusted primary care provider means you have someone who understands your health history, tracks your progress, and coordinates your care across the healthcare system.

Why Primary Care Matters

No matter your age or health status, regular primary care helps you:

  • Catch health issues early, when they’re easier to treat
  • Stay current with vaccinations and preventive screenings
  • Receive expert guidance tailored to your lifestyle and goals
  • Get support managing medications and ongoing conditions
  • Navigate the healthcare system with confidence

With a strong primary care relationship, you’re not just treating illness — you’re investing in your long-term well-being.

Kayla Curtis, AGNP

Primary Care

Kayla Curtis, AGNP, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to adults and seniors. She earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

With a strong passion for adult and senior care, Kayla specializes in mitigating polypharmacy, advance care planning, and the care of patients with dementia. She prioritizes quality of life for aging individuals, viewing each person holistically while keeping in mind what brings them joy and fulfillment. Her interest in geriatrics was shaped by her time as an ICU nurse, where she developed a deep commitment to helping older adults navigate complex health challenges with dignity and purpose.

Before joining Rocky Mountain Primary Care, Kayla worked at a geriatric clinic for two years, providing comprehensive care to high-need, complex patients who were unable to navigate the traditional medical system. She also built a strong foundation in nursing through her work in acute specialties, including the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and post-operative care, both as a staff and travel nurse.

Outside of the office, Kayla enjoys spending time with friends and her dogs, camping, skiing, hiking, cooking, paddleboarding, and staying active outdoors. She also loves home renovation projects and fosters dogs in her free time. Originally from St. Louis, she is a proud fan of the Cardinals and Blues.
