No, our physicians do not see patients in the hospital. They work very closely with a group of Hospital Physicians – “Hospitalists” – who specialize in taking care of patients in the hospital. We will begin caring for you again, when you are discharged from the hospital.

Which hospitals are you affiliated with?

Although our doctors do not see patients in the hospital, each of them refer patients to Specialists who admit their patients at a variety of hospitals. When inpatient care is needed, these are the most common hospital choices:

ARVADA: Exempla Lutheran, St. Anthony Central
LAKEWOOD: Exempla Lutheran, St. Anthony Central
WESTMINSTER: Exempla Lutheran, St. Anthony North

While this is the general referral pattern, our doctors’ greatest concern is for the health needs and desire of our patients. So, both hospital and physician referrals are made based upon specific needs, and after thorough consultation with the patient.
