Shannon is a Colorado native and was raised here in Arvada. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.
Shannon’s interest in medicine began at a young age. To gain experience before entering PA school, she worked for 2 years at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She graduated in 2012 from the University of Colorado School of Medicine’s Physician Assistant Program with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
After graduating, Shannon worked at an Internal Medicine office in Lone Tree for nearly 3 years. She is happy to return to the Arvada area as a provider with Rocky Mountain Primary Care. Her passions include cardiovascular prevention and health, women’s health, and adolescent medicine.
In her free time, Shannon loves spending time with her husband and their new daughter. She enjoys being outdoors and traveling.
