Alison graduated from the University of Colorado, Denver with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She completed rotations in a number of diverse settings, with special emphasis on family medicine, pediatrics, endocrinology and geriatrics. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, she worked as a corporate trainer in the nutrition field and also ran her own business as a personal chef.
Alison has a passion for family medicine: collaborating closely with patients, gaining an understanding of their unique health goals and challenges and helping them to improve their well-being over time. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, and her professional interests include diabetes care, nutrition and diet, preventative care, weight loss and holistic care. Alison grew up in Michigan, earning her undergraduate degree at Michigan State University.
She has lived in Colorado for over 20 years, sharing a home in Westminster with her husband and two children. When not working with patients, Alison enjoys swimming, hiking, photography, traveling, cooking, gardening, kayaking and camping.
