Heather comes to us from the Lander Medical Clinic, and Indian Health Services in Wyoming. She is a native Coloradan and is very excited to be back in Colorado. Heather has a long work history in both the medical field and public service. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Recreation Resources Management and working for the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Heather decided that she would like to work as a Paramedic and Firefighter.
She completed her Paramedic Training at Swedish Medical Center and went on to work with the Evergreen and Littleton Fire Departments for six years. Heather returned to school and obtained her Master of Medical Science Degree in 2007 from Saint Francis University and completed the Physician Assistant Program at Red Rocks Community College.
Heather is an outdoor enthusiast, which led to her taking a seasonal position as a Physician Assistant at the Grand Teton Medical Clinic in the Grand Teton National Park. While in Wyoming, she provided services as both an urgent care provider and a primary care provider.
